You’ll develop a range of skills and techniques which are vital to succeed in the work place.
Our programmes prepare you for a wide range of careers and our BSc Environmental Health is the only fully-accredited environmental health degree in London.
You’ll be taught by our academics, who still work in research and bring that knowledge to their teaching, as well as guest lecturers, who will further enhance your knowledge.
You’ll be supported by your tutors, particularly your personal tutor, as you work in groups and in one-to-ones that will focus on your personal development.
As well as on-campus facilities, you’ll be able to access virtual labs and LearnSmart for instant feedback. LearnSmart will allow you to personalise your learning experience, providing feedback and tailored study pathways to help you to improve in the areas that are unique to you.
We’ve planned your learning so it has most benefit for your development:
You’ll work on large scale research projects that you’ll design and undertake yourself to complete the portfolio of work you’ve created in your time at MDX, building on problem-solving exercises and case study analyses.
Depending on your course, your research project can be undertaken with a local authority or NGO.
We're designing our approach to teaching and learning for 2023 using student and staff feedback from the past year and evidence of what helped students learn best. This means we can incorporate some of the most successful innovations and new practices and make the most of your study.
