Meet Euan

Euan came to Middlesex to study Business Accounting and benefitted from a supportive environment that made him feel confident about his future career.

Choosing Middlesex

Middlesex University was my top choice because of the inclusiveness of the international students.

The help of the institution to complete my application and the support I received right up from the start of my journey as an official student was unprecedented and made me feel like I was a part of something bigger.

Teaching and learning

The teaching styles of Middlesex and my previous university are worlds apart. The academics at Middlesex have more passion and enthusiasm for their area of expertise.

I always felt fully engaged in each lecture and the lecturers showed how invested they were in my success. For each module, I received a module handbook and lecture slides. I also received continuous support from Academic Advisors, Personal Tutors, Graduate Learning Assistants, and Student Learning Assistants.

When studying on campus, the library is my favourite spot, the quiet areas of the upper floors are for individual studying and I am always able to get a lot done wherever I am there.

Being a student in London

Life in London is way better than I ever thought it would be, you can never get bored here. From relaxing daytime activities such as walking through parks to thrilling nightlife events, I always find something in the city that suits my mood.

Preparing for my future career

Middlesex has prepared me for my future career path by giving me the best start in life that a university can offer. Not only did it ensure that I received an education of the highest calibre, but it also provided me with the opportunity to gain one year of relevant work experience as part of my degree.

Middlesex believes that networking and building business connections are paramount for every student, thus, it hosts numerous events that give students the opportunity to networks. The most useful and memorable event the university has hosted in my opinion is the Alumni networking event. Alumni are proof that Middlesex can indeed help me achieve my goals. When they spoke of their past experiences at the university and how it has helped them to get where they are, I felt encouraged and had more faith in my future.
