We offer students a range of rewarding, flexible and enjoyable part-time work opportunities both on and off campus. All of our part-time jobs can easily be fitted around your studies and holidays.
Gaining work experience while studying allows you to develop transferable skills, boost your CV and, let's not forget, earn some money for rent, travel, books, stationery and social activities.
Each year we recruit for the following positions, all of which are open to our current students:
Student Ambassadors are advocates for the University, as well as acting as role models in helping to raise aspirations and awareness of Higher Education in general. SAs are frequently involved in events such as University Open Days and Postgraduate Open Evenings.
Student Helpers often assist at Open Days and are always on hand to help, direct and answer any questions visitors may have.
GTAs help academic staff support students with their studies.
SLAs are experienced students who assist academic staff and work in lectures, seminars, workshops and small group sessions to help with learning. SLAs are also involved in face-to-face drop-in sessions, online support and assisting in the development, production and delivery of course materials.
