Sixty Chinese students visited Middlesex University and toured the Hendon campus on Tuesday as they sampled student life in the UK. The group, accompanied by five members of staff, were from Renmin University in Beijing, China.
They were welcomed to the University and shown around as part of a sightseeing visit to London. The students took the opportunity to visit Middlesex as many are interested in doing a top-up year in International Business Administration. The group participated in classes and listened to talks about studying in the UK.
Renmin University, a key university in China, has become an important partner in Beijing for Middlesex University. The partnership allows students to gain a richer educational experience and a more international insight into the industry, better preparing them for the world of business.
Jewel Lo, International Relations and Visits Officer from the Centre for International Education who organised the Middlesex visit, said: “The trip was a great success and gave the students a real insight into what studying at Middlesex would be like. The students appreciated being able to see the campus and ask questions about the programme.
