Knowledge Transfer

Staff in the Education Department engage in a broad range of Knowledge Transfer (KT) collaborative activity with national and international education settings and with organisations in the public and private sectors.

These mutually beneficial partnerships are concerned with improving children's educational outcomes and with the wider holistic needs of children and their families.

Examples of KT project activity include:

  • Collaboration with European partners to develop interactive web-based materials for online museum enterprise
  • Consultancy for arts education projects
  • Study visits for students and staff from other institutions
  • Implementation of EU common standards in legal interpreting and translation
  • Development of Initial Teacher Training of Primary Religious Education
  • Professional development of Early Years Practitioners
