Research club is an opportunity to get together once a week informally over lunch to discuss research needs, seek and offer support and share experiences with colleagues.
What does teaching informing research and research informing teaching really mean to us? We will discuss from starting out to all that it takes to complete research study, projects or bids including making the most of scholarly time, reviewing, editing, writing and thriving.
Weekly content of Research Lunch Club will be shaped by the group's needs and interests. In Term 1 of 2014, the group will meet in room T143 in the Town Hall, Hendon every Thursday from 1.30pm until 3pm.
In the first instance the club is open to Education Department doctoral students and staff engaged in research of all kinds, but in the future we aim to invite and share experience across the entire School.
