If you are interested in postgraduate study at the Flood Hazard Research Centre, then you're on the right page. Our experienced staff here are actively involved in the teaching of various postgraduate courses – click on the link here to find out more.
The centre is the base for several of our postgraduate research students at the School of Science and Technology, where they can benefit from extensive research, computing and other facilities available in the centre.
We also provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training. These courses draw on the expertise of our staff and external consultants. You can learn skills in: flood warnings, flood risk management, asset condition assessment, flood alleviation and coast protection.
Click here for a list of CPD courses that the Centre has previously run. If you'd like to find out more about any of these courses, please contact Simon McCarthy.
