Our researchers use their extensive international contacts to undertake research world-wide on International Business (IB), from large-scale comparative studies through to conceptual and review work which challenges key assumptions of IB.
Drawing upon the disciplines of economics, sociology, psychology, and geography, our research has made significant contributions to understanding the internal functioning of MNCs in relation to HQ-subsidiary relationships, international teams, knowledge and technology transfer, supply chains, international HRM, and management of R&D and innovation.
We publish our findings widely in the leading International business journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of World Business.
