It’s quieter than our other halls here so it'll suit you as a mature student. Rooms have shared bathrooms and kitchens with a shared area for group study, TV lounge and pool table and outdoor space. This is our smallest hall however there are plenty of students around as it’s on the same site as Platt Hall.

Located in Colindale, Writtle House is a 5-minute walk away from Colindale underground station (Northern Line) and approximately a 30 minute journey from the London Metropolitan North campus. Buses for Brent Cross Shopping Centre and central London are a short walk away.

We guarantee a place in halls for all full-time UK, EU and international undergraduate and postgraduate students joining us for their first year of study in 2019. This guarantee is for UK students who confirm their offer and apply for accommodation before 30 June 2019, and EU/international students who confirm their offer and apply for accommodation before 12 August 2019.
Places in Middlesex's own halls are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The university also works with a number of private providers to ensure there are places available once our own halls are fully occupied.
Our halls are all managed by Optivo, a housing association that specialises in student accommodation. We're committed to providing a friendly, safe, student-focused environment – and we've signed up to national codes of standards for accommodation to ensure this. For Writtle House, Optivo has signed up to the ANUK code.
