Writtle House

Historic site for postgraduate and mature students seeking quiet living arrangements

Established in 1917, Writtle House was first known as London Aerodrome Hotel and then renamed The Royal Air Force East Camp Officers' Mess. Back then, it used to be a short stay hotel for people flying from the now RAF Museum, and it was sometimes even used by the Royal Family!
