Meet people and network

Over the next few months, we'll help you build your new network, socially and professionally, at safe in-person events and in friendly online spaces.

Events led by students - our current students are planning loads of events for you to join in a way that works for you, whether you’re super sociable or love downtime.

Find people like you - there are nearly 100 student groups, clubs and societies here who organise activities to meet people who are into the same stuff as you.

Sport and fitness

Our top-class Fitness Pod is open in line with government guidance. Plus you’ll be able to get involved in social, team sport activities too - just as long as we're allowed to offer them.

When university sports leagues return, you’ll be able to take the field for #TeamMDX as well.

Our return to campus

There are two possible plans for the start of term - with or without social distancing in place - and both will give you an excellent learning experience.

We'll keep you safe while also giving you more in-person on campus teaching than students had last year, where we can and as long as restrictions are lifted.
