Application advice for students

At Middlesex University, we like to make our application process as easy as possible, offering talks, workshops and guidance for your students who are interested in attending higher education.

We'd be happy to come into your institution to give a talk or workshop. We can also provide innovative drop-in surgeries where your students can make appointments to receive individually tailored advice on their personal statements from our experienced representatives.

Guides, tools and workbooks for your students

We have a number of useful downloadable tools for you to share with your students:

Applications Survival Guide for Students

This booklet contains helpful hints, tips and advice on how to choose a university and course, as well as the UCAS cycle.

Personal Statements Workbook

This pack has everything your students need to get started, including suggested structure, thought-provoking questions and personal statement dos and don'ts.

Personal Statement Presentation

A copy of the presentation we deliver to groups on how to write personal statements. One of the team would be delighted to come and deliver this session. Please contact us to find out more.

Tutor Guide

We also offer a tutor guide for staff involved in the application process. This contains comprehensive advice on helping your students make the right decisions, the UCAS cycle, finance, scholarships and bursaries. It also gives information about the value of a Middlesex University degree.

Please get in touch to arrange your appointment. If there are any other resources you and your students would find particularly helpful, we're very open to suggestions.
