Middlesex University has sponsored a competition in Moldova to promote study abroad opportunities to young students.
Middlesex's Moldovan representative, Excel, partnered with The Ministry of Education and Youth of Moldova to hold the edUKation contest in February 2015. The competition aimed to attract and select young candidates countrywide with the greatest potential for a scholarship programme to study abroad.
Middlesex sponsored the Science Senior competition and was proud to award Bezdrighin Marcel a certificate and tablet from the University.
"We are a global university who welcome students from all over the world to our London campus. We recognise the vast advantages gained by studying abroad, and alongside students from different countries, " says Middlesex European Regional Manager, Markella Charalambous.
"We wish to congratulate Bezdrighin on his win, and wish him all the best in his future studies," says Markella.
The contest was open to 15-18 year old students from over 1,200 secondary schools across Moldova. Pupils could participate in both English and Science competitions for range of prizes.
