A word from our students
At Middlesex, you’ll join a truly global community with students from 122 nationalities and campuses in London, Dubai and Mauritius.
We don’t think there is anywhere better to be an international student than Middlesex University but don’t take our word for it and hear from some of our international students about their experience at Middlesex.
If you have any questions about entry requirements and the suitability of your qualifications, please contact your regional team.
Level of study | Entry requirements |
Undergraduate - Year 1 | For entry to most undergraduate courses you must have completed the minimum NECTA or A-levels exams with a minimum grade of Division 3, or ACSE with grade C/3. We will also consider applicants who have completed various stages of their studies from other institutions and awarding bodies including ACCA, Aptech, Association of Computer Professionals (ACP), Association of Business Executives (ABE), BTEC, CIM, IMIS, Informatics, National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), NCC and other pre-university foundation courses. If you don't meet the minimum requirements you may be considered for our one-year International Foundation Programme. Students who successfully complete the one-year International Foundation at Middlesex will automatically progress onto a Middlesex degree. |
Undergraduate - Year 2 and 3 | If you have achieved a Foundation Degree, CertHE, DipHE, HNC, HND or a number of modules of an undergraduate degree course at another university, you may be able to enter directly into the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degree courses as a transfer student. We recognise qualifications from a range of awarding bodies including NCC, Aptech, ABE and Edexcel(BTEC/Pearson). |
Postgraduate | For most postgraduate courses, you must have completed a good Bachelor degree, equivalent to a British second class honours degree, from a recognised university. Our MBA courses require at least two years of post-graduation work experience at management level, and in some cases a GMAT score of over 550 will also be required. |
You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet these or one of our other accepted tests, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.
We are pleased to offer a range of international scholarships and merit awards to international students.
Visit our scholarships page for a list of all Middlesex scholarships you may be eligible for.
You can also apply for the British Government's Chevening Scholarships, and a variety of private agencies and charities for scholarships, bursaries and grants to study in the UK. For more information visit the British Council website or the UK Council for International Student Affairs website.
