Our courses

Creative technology programmes at MDX Studios

Our suite of 13 MA creative technology programmes makes the most of MDX Studio’s state-of-the-art screen and media facilities on our north London campus. Students benefit from our unique adjacency to the vibrant screen and media industries in north London’s creative corridor, such as Troubadour Studios, our partner in Screen London Barnet. All our one-year programmes include optional, embedded, credit-bearing work placements where you will learn through on-the-job, real world industry experience as an integral part of your course. We also offer two-year study modes with extended, paid work experience opportunities.

Six-week teaching blocks enable maximum flexibility and optionality, so students can customise their learning to suit their personal goals and maximise integrated work experience opportunities. All the programmes include modules in ‘Creative Practice and AI’, ‘Business Skills for Creative Practice’, and ‘Storytelling and Worldbuilding’, giving you space to collaborate across disciplines and prepare for tech-enabled careers in the creative industries. These are augmented and supported by skills-based modules with specific industry focus in each group of programmes.
