Evaluating Service Provision for Bereaved Victims of Crime
We conducted in depth assessments of the work of a charity working with people bereaved by homicide and affected by serious crime. We adopted a multi methods, triangulated approach using archival techniques and gathering original data via face to face, online and telephone interviews. Our report set the charity within its wider field of operation, as well as focussing directly on service provision and relevant regulatory frameworks. We were able to show clear strengths and identify challenges for future development and worked closely with the charity at all stages of the work.
