Google Sitemap
Used to generate the sitemap XML file to submit to Google.
How to use
- Add content to a child section from the route of the site e.g., for the main Middlesex website MDXUK » Google Sitemap with (see T4 documentation on section settings for more information):
- Section set to an archive
- Output file name element is set to a suitable filename e.g., sitemap-en.xml
- Page Layout set to 'Blank' Page Layout
- Add the Channel IDs or the channel(s) and/or its microsites
- Add the Base HREF, this is the domain of the website e.g., https://www.mdx.ac.uk/
- Add Include file extensions, these are file extensions outside the default index pages of your website. Only add if you want to include media types like images or video to your sitemap e.g. jpg, png, mp4 etc.
- Add any Exclusions for pages or areas of the site you wish to not be included in the sitemap, add multiple values comma separated
