This one-day training offers a fantastic opportunity for frontline staff to gain practical knowledge to effectively help people to take steps to improve their wellbeing. It will be of interest to staff from primary care-based practitioners, mental health and social care professionals working in inpatient and community settings.
This workshop focuses on supporting people to make healthier choices. It will equip and prepare mental health professionals with the basic skills, knowledge, and confidence to promote health and wellbeing in service users.
At the end of this lecture the students should be able to.
Study mode: Synchronous online delivery via virtual classroom using one of the following web-based learning and teaching platforms (e.g. MS teams, Kaltura new row, Adobe Connect, Zoom). The content on the day will be delivered via a mixture of PowerPoint presentation, small group exercise and discussion, group feedback and recap/quiz.
