This course develops your ability to plan and deliver effective digital marketing strategies in a fast-paced environment. You will learn how to design impactful campaigns across digital channels and use data, technology, and creativity to drive measurable marketing results for your organisation.

About your course

About your course

The course will cover the following topics:

  • critical evaluation of strategic marketing frameworks, concepts, and theories, with a focus on their application to problem-solving and decision-making in contemporary marketing contexts
  • examination of how marketing strategies are developed, supported by relevant data, and aligned with organisational objectives, capabilities, and market conditions.

Across these areas, you will develop a range of skills throughout the course:

  • the ability to integrate and apply strategic marketing frameworks and concepts to develop logical, data-informed solutions to marketing challenges
  • the capability to plan and manage the resources required to implement marketing strategies effectively, supporting the development and maintenance of core organisational capabilities and expertise.

Schedule details

The credit-bearing module will take place between 19 January - 20 February 2026.

The non-credit bearing module will take place between 19 January - 6 February 2026.

Learning and teaching

The module will be delivered via interactive lectures and workshops, using a student-centred, active learning-based pedagogy. You will have weekly reading and tasks to prepare for formative exercises, which will be an integral component of the module design. You will be expected to engage in independent self-study activities to support your learning and to achieve success in module summative assessments. 

Non-credit bearing (NCB): two and half days (15 hrs) on campus every week for three weeks

Credit bearing (CB): two and half days (15 hrs) on campus every week for three weeks and two further weeks for assessments.

Assessment (credit bearing only)

You will need to submit a consultancy report, with an approximate word count of 2500 words or equivalent.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements

Please note these entry requirements are valid only for students taking the credit-bearing route. The non-credit bearing path has no entry requirements.

UK entry requirements

A 2.2 honours degree or above, and two or more years of relevant business experience or graduate-level professional qualifications. If you do not possess either an honours degree or professional qualifications, you are welcome to apply, but we normally require a GMAT score of at least 550 points.

International entry requirements

We accept a wide range of international qualifications, equivalent to a UK 2.2 honours degree. You can find out more on your country's support page. If you need help with your application, please contact your nearest regional office.

You'll need good English language skills to study with us. That's usually an IELTS 6.0 qualification (with a grade of 6.0 for Reading and Writing components/Listening and Speaking components at 5.5). And, if you need help, we offer an intensive pre-sessional English course.

To study with us in the UK, you will need a student route visa.

Exceptions to entry requirements

Candidates not meeting any of these requirements may, in exceptional cases, be considered for admission where there is strong supporting education or experience. All such cases will be at the discretion of the Executive MBA Programme Leader.
