A word from our students
At Middlesex, you’ll join a truly global community with students from 122 nationalities and campuses in London, Dubai and Mauritius.
We don’t think there is anywhere better to be an international student than Middlesex University but don’t take our word for it and hear from some of our international students about their experience at Middlesex.
If you have any questions about entry requirements and the suitability of your qualifications, please contact your regional team.
Level of study | Entry requirements |
Undergraduate - Year 1 | Most courses require successful completion of the Vysvědčení o maturitní zkoušce (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) with a grade average of at least 2.75 - 2.0, depending on the course you are applying for. You will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement. |
Undergraduate - Year 2 and 3 | If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex. You will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement. |
Postgraduate | Most courses require successful completion of a good Bachelor degree / Bakalar if studied after 2001 with a grade average of at least 2.5. Our MBA courses require at least two years of post-graduation work experience at management level, and in some cases a GMAT score of over 550 will also be required. You will need to provide two letters of reference from academic sources and a personal statement. |
You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. We accept a range of English tests, taken within two years of the start of your course. The most commonly accepted is:

Postgraduate (Master) course
You can find a full list of acceptable English language qualifications here. If you don't meet any of these, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.
