Facilities
MDX Studios gives you a working studio on campus, with professional crew support and industry-level production facilities. As part of Screen London Barnet, you’ll study in one of north London’s fastest-growing creative production hubs.
You’ll learn in modern creative environments, including digital labs, TV studios, and dedicated editing and production spaces. From filming and editing to content strategy and analytics, you’ll have the tools to experiment, create and grow your skill set.
You'll apply the skills and theory learned using specialist software that is the latest industry standard, such as Adobe Creative Suite or professional audio and video production resources as well as. The Kit Hub houses a vast collection of art and media-based equipment that you can borrow to help with relevant modules. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain certifications in Apple, and Avid editing software alongside experience in API and analytics.
Across campus, you’ll find collaborative study spaces, student support, and a dedicated careers and employability service to help you prepare for graduate roles and build the confidence to succeed in a competitive market.
Industry experience and partnerships
Our strong industry network means you’ll have work placement opportunities and collaborate on live projects with agencies, brands and media companies. This will give you the experience, skills and confidence before you graduate to progress your career.
Some of our courses are professionally accredited, such as CIM, or offer opportunities to gain certifications in Apple or Avid editing software, which can support your development and help you stand out to employers.

General requirements for marketing, media and communications courses
Undergraduate: 80-112 UCAS tariff points. Most courses require A-levels or equivalent qualifications – BB-BBC .
Postgraduate: 2:2 or above or equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject or relevant work experience.
