I chose Middlesex University because it offered the course I was keen on pursuing. In 2008-2009, this course was rare in both the UK and in India. An MSc in Applied Psychology was offered by Middlesex University alone and it contained the modules I wanted to study.
It contained modules that I was interested in and I felt doing a course with six different subject areas would increase my job prospects in the UK as well as in India.
I particularly enjoyed the research methods and my dissertation. I also enjoyed the teaching and support that I received from professors.
My fondest memories of life at Middlesex University are my initial days in a new place, making new friends and going to social gatherings organised by the university, which included a riverboat disco and trip to Brighton. I also really enjoyed spending time in the library with lots of books and friends.
Just study hard, attend tutorials and engage in as many extra curricular activities as possible to make the most use of university life.
