We are delighted to invite you to the Middlesex University Teachers’ and Careers Advisors’ Conference 2026 — a free, in-person event designed to support educators and careers professionals in preparing students for the future.
Join us for an inspiring day of interactive workshops, expert insights and networking, while exploring Middlesex University’s outstanding North London campus.
What to expect
The conference will explore key themes shaping education and employability, including:
- Artificial Intelligence in education – using AI thoughtfully and responsibly in the classroom
- Oracy and communication skills – empowering students to articulate ideas with confidence
- The skills that matter – preparing young people for future study, work and life
Delivered in partnership with Debate Mate and the MDX Department of Education, the programme showcases innovative practice, current research and real-world application, with a strong focus on student development and progression.
Debate Mate is an education charity that champions oracy and debating skills in young people. Working with schools and colleges in the UK and internationally, they help students develop confidence, critical thinking and clear communication through high-quality debate programmes and teacher training. Their work supports academic success, employability and social mobility by empowering young people to find their voice and engage confidently with ideas.
