Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries

Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries

A creative community where you can develop your craft, discover your voice and begin to see a future in the things you love making.

Learn alongside people who work in the creative industries. Across Sound and Screen and Design and Creative Practice, you’ll explore how ideas become work that people can see, hear, feel, question and experience.

Craft is at the heart of it. Getting to know your materials. Understanding your tools. Helping you harness AI and technological transformation. Through practical experience, you'll connect making with critical thinking, build your confidence and develop your ideas.

There’s room to venture beyond your own discipline, too. Collaboration across subjects, cultures and organisations brings fresh perspectives to your work and introduces you to new ways of thinking and creating.

You’ll have access to industry-standard equipment and technology, with technical support to help you explore their possibilities. Our teaching is informed by research, contemporary creative practice and innovative approaches to learning. Strong industry connections keep your studies relevant to a creative world that is constantly changing.

Joining the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries you’ll be part of a welcoming, inclusive community that takes your ambitions seriously. You’ll have space to test your instincts, challenge your assumptions and make work that feels increasingly your own.

Wherever your creativity takes you, we’ll help you take the next step.
