Our teaching regularly achieves high National Student Survey (NSS) satisfaction scores. Many of our courses offer a diverse and engaging approach to teaching and learning. Students take part in project-based activities throughout their studies. They also learn from invited speakers and use leading-edge technologies in dedicated laboratories across the campus.
Our research strengths include:
- Visual analytics
- Foundations of computing
- Software systems engineering
- Computational simulation
- Intelligent networks
- Artificial intelligence (AI).
We integrate research into our teaching. Undergraduate and postgraduate students have opportunities to explore emerging technologies in these areas. Postgraduate courses also support more specialist study.
