Research activities

Critical contemporary challenges in Business and Management education:

AI literacy and digital capabilities: Investigating how Business students use generative AI tools and developing evidence-based pedagogical approaches to foster critical AI literacy, ethical technology use, and complex thinking skills;

Inclusive pedagogy for diverse learners: Exploring effective teaching practices that support international students, students with English as an additional language, and students from widening participation backgrounds in Business education;

Information literacy in the AI era: Examining how Business students navigate increasingly complex information ecosystems and developing interventions that build critical evaluation capabilities. 


Current Teaching

Business and Management modules at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, such as Management in a Global Environment, Applied Project, and Management Consultancy. 


Biography

My diverse academic background combines social research methodologies, information science, and business education, enabling me to bring interdisciplinary perspectives to teaching and research. I hold an MRes in Social Research from UCL, a BSc in Business Management from Roehampton University, as well as a PhD in Literary Studies, an MA in Publishing, and a BA (Hons) in Library and Information Science with Qualified Teacher Status from University of Bucharest. 

My teaching practice is grounded in humanistic learning principles and evidence-based pedagogy. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Birkbeck University of London, I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) through the Chartered Association of Business Schools, and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
