Biography

With a background spanning fine art, design, and film, I bring a hands-on, exploratory approach to creative education. I currently support a wide variety of students across the school and teach extensively on BA Film, BA 3D Animation for Film and Games, and BA Animation, helping them build skills in art direction, set and prop design, fabrication, and visual storytelling.

I’m passionate about how we explore the inner world and observe the outer world through making—whether through drawing, sculpting, or constructing detailed environments from scratch. I enjoy solving creative and technical challenges, encouraging students to push boundaries, and working together to develop both skill and confidence.

My practice is rooted in both traditional techniques and contemporary tools. I regularly work with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Twinmotion, Photoshop, and Clo3D, alongside physical materials like paint, wood, fabric, ceramics, and mixed media. My training includes Art Direction at Pinewood Studios and Virtual Production with Final Pixel, and I hold an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art.

I’ve exhibited internationally, illustrated for academic publications, and continue to develop my own practice alongside teaching. Whether constructing a puppet, storyboarding a new idea, or curating an event, I love the collaborative energy of creative environments—and supporting students to find their voice within them.
