Biography

Mr Reekesh Kumar Lall is an Associate Lecturer in Engineering at Middlesex University Mauritius, specialising in Robotics and Mechatronics. His academic journey reflects a commitment to excellence and innovation, marked by a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design) from IIT Roorkee, both of which were earned under prestigious Government scholarships. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering(Robotics), where his research focuses on Digital Twins for collaborative robots, aiming to transform automation in production lines.

Reekesh’s expertise spans robotics, mechanical systems, machine design, automation, and AI integration. He has contributed to cutting-edge projects, including semi-active suspension systems for autonomous heavy vehicles and flexible joint robot manipulators, by combining advanced simulation tools with practical engineering solutions.

Beyond academia, Reekesh is passionate about mentoring future innovators, exploring AI-driven robotics, and driving Industry 4.0 and 5.0 advancements. Multilingual in English, French, Hindi, and Creole, he brings a global perspective to engineering education and research.

When not immersed in robotics labs, Reekesh enjoys coding, designing automation systems, and organizing creative tech-driven events. His vision is clear: to bridge the gap between digital transformation and real-world engineering, inspiring the next generation to create technologies that shape a smarter, sustainable future.
