Biography

I am a Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at Middlesex University and a practising Crisis Practitioner in ELFT. I have a background in acute and crisis care, I have a particular interest in improving outcomes for people with complex emotional needs (CEN) and exploring how services can respond more compassionately and effectively to individuals in crisis.

My current work focuses on developing and evaluating a CEN pathway within crisis services and supporting students and staff to maintain compassion, resilience, and reflective practice in challenging environments. I am passionate about bridging the gap between education and clinical practice, ensuring that the realities of modern mental health nursing are reflected in how future nurses are taught and supported.
