Current Teaching
Recently, Sean has led and taught on multiple 3D Animation for Games and Film modules, including:
Practice and Research:
This is a practice-based research module in which students develop their knowledge in 3D technologies through practical experimentation and application.
Asset creation:
The asset creation module focuses on the creation of production-ready 3D assets, rigs and animations for use in films and games.
Major project pre-production
The Major Project preproduction prepares the students to work on large-scale collaborative projects utilising up-to-date industry-standard project management tools and techniques. Whilst also building a portfolio of pre-production materials such as storyboards, concepts, previs, whiteboxing, etc.
Major project production
The Major project module builds on the content created during the pre-production module to create a successful outcome, often an animated short or game level.
Portfolio
Through the portfolio module, students build a network, develop a portfolio, CV and a range of other self-branding materials.
Throughout these modules, students will learn and develop a strong proficiency in:
… and many more.
