In January 2025, Veronika joined MDX as Lecturer inFine Art Studio Practice, leading the BA Fine Art Year 1 and 2 studio modules.


Biography

Veronika Neukirch’s art practice is rooted insculpture and installation, employing diverse media and techniques. Based on ampleexperience as Freelance Curator and Art Handler as well as occasional Writerand Art Dealer, she brings a wide range of skills and industry knowledge. 

In 2023, Veronika's work was shown at the Royal Society of Sculptors (London), The Art House (Wakefield) and she performed at Nottingham Contemporary. She has exhibited, completed artist residencies and scholarships in the UK, Europe and Southeast Asia, including the Zsuzsi Robozs Scholarship 2022 with solo exhibition at Morley Gallery (London), the Solo Residency at Unit 1 Gallery, London (2021), the Mark Tanner Sculpture Award Graduate Residency at Standpoint Gallery, London (2020) and Rimbun Dahan Residency in Malaysia with a collaborative book launch at Ilham Contemporary, Kuala Lumpur (2017), which were kindly supported by the Goethe Institute.

She taught at University for the CreativeArts, Farnham (2019-2025) across all undergraduate year groups.

Graduating from the Royal College of Art, London with an MAin Sculpture in 2019, Veronika was the recipient of the Gilbert Bayes TrustSculpture Award. Shecompleted her BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins (2013), specialising in ‘2D’,and briefly studied at Universität derKünste (UdK) Berlin (2012).
