Biography
Veronika Neukirch’s expansive art practice moves between multiple media andtechniques with starting points in sculpture and installation, including newmedia and collaborative approaches.
Her experience spans a broad spectrum of roles in the artworld, including exhibiting internationally, curating and art handling, all of which inform her pedagogical approach.
In 2023, Veronika’s work was shown at the Royal Society ofSculptors (London), The Art House, Wakefield and she performed at NottinghamContemporary. She has exhibited, completed artist residencies and scholarshipsin the UK, Europe and Southeast Asia, including the Zsuzsi RobozsScholarship 2022 with solo exhibition at Morley Gallery, London; theSolo Residency at Unit 1 Gallery, London (2021), the Mark TannerSculpture Award Graduate Residency at Standpoint Gallery, London(2020) and Rimbun Dahan Residency in Malaysia with acollaborative book launch at Ilham Contemporary, Kuala Lumpur (2017), whichwere kindly supported by the Goethe Institute.
Graduating from the Royal College of Art with an MA inSculpture in 2019, Veronika was the recipient of the Gilbert Bayes TrustSculpture Award and went on to become a lecturer at the University for theCreative Arts, Farnham. She completed her BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins(2013), specialising in ‘2D’, and briefly studied at Universität derKünste (UdK) Berlin (2012).
