Terapia is one of the UK’s leading training organisations for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling.

We also provide highly specialised counselling, psychotherapy, and bespoke mental health services. These services support young people, children, parents, and families. We work with individuals, organisations, schools, and the statutory and non-statutory sectors.

Over the past two decades, we have developed expertise in all areas of child mental health. Our training is demanding. It prepares graduates to offer high standards of knowledge and therapeutic skill within the psychotherapy profession.

We combine established best practice in child psychotherapy with the latest findings from neuroscience. Our aim is to address psychological pain and help people recover their lives and hope. We are confident in the effectiveness of this approach.

Our growing expertise in forensic practice with children and young people is supported by dedicated therapeutic facilities. This combination allows us to provide highly specialised forensic services based on our knowledge and experience in this area.

Terapia’s courses are validated by Middlesex University. We are accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Graduates of our MA course are eligible for membership of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
