Centre for Education Research and Scholarship (CERS)
The Centre for Educational Research and Scholarship (CERS) promotes research which explores any aspects of education and childhood. It embraces research and scholarship from a range of disciplines and theoretical traditions and is particularly keen to promote multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary and practice-based research.
Acting as a hub for staff and students, CERS nurtures the growth of new researchers through an active seminar, event and development programme. The Centre seeks to foster mentorship, collaboration, and professional development as well as increasing the profile and impact of researchers at Middlesex University.

Leadership is provided by an elected Chair (Dr Angela Scollan in 2025-26) and our Director of Research (Professor Jayne Osgood).
