Life in London

From building strong career networks, to planning unforgettable nights out, there’s nowhere better than London to make the most of university

We love London

London is voted the best student city in the world (QS Best Student Cities 2018) and we have to agree.

Studying in London opens doors. It's a dynamic and international place where 2000 years of history meets innovation and new ideas. When you study here, you'll see old meet new in our historic museums, modern art galleries, world-class theatres, exciting night life and green open spaces. You'll network with future employers based in the city and get valuable work experience for your career.

You're going to love studying at Middlesex in London - whether you're new to the city or you've lived here forever - here's why.

Our London location

Our single-site campus is in Hendon, north London. It's a green and peaceful part of the city that's well connected to the rest of London, the UK and beyond. We're a short walk from Hendon Central Underground station in Zone 3, the overground rail station and 24-hour buses so you can always get where you need to be.

Travel times from Hendon to central London

24 minutes on public transport
33 minutes in a car
46 minutes on a bike.

There are direct links to Luton, St Albans, South West London and beyond and bus routes to North West London.

Check directions to campus

Middlesex's Hendon location means it's close to central London, while still being affordable. It's a good place to study away from the city stress.

Life in Hendon

Our home in Hendon is a laid back place that's more affordable than other parts of London.

  • Take the bus or travel one stop on the tube to Brent Cross shopping centre with over 120 shops, plus restaurants, cafes and bars.
  • Get outside at nearby Sunny Hill Park, with free tennis courts and a football pitch, or Hendon Park, the perfect picnic spot.
