We are revising our offer of financial support to ensure it best meets the current needs of students. Further announcements will be made on postgraduate awards in June.
Amount: Reduction of up to 20% of the tuition fee
Eligibility: Please see details of eligibility below
We offer all Middlesex University alumni who are UK/EU citizens a 20% fee reduction on postgraduate courses. International alumni can benefit from 20% off their masters fees if they are not in receipt of any regional awards. Alumni from our Academic Partner Institutions are entitled to a 10% reduction in fees.
This offer applies to all alumni with a Middlesex undergraduate degree, including those who studied with a collaborative partner (subject to eligibility). There is no separate application process for your alumni bursary - simply highlight that you are an alumni when applying for your course to ensure the bursary is applied.
The Alumni Bursary is only applicable if you are self-financing. Where courses are part sponsored such as the MA Social Work, The Alumni Bursary will only apply to the fee contribution paid by you. For International alumni who apply through our regional offices, The Alumni Bursary cannot be held in addition in any regional awards.
Please note the Alumni Discount is only valid for courses where the future study is undertaken at Middlesex University, London. International campus alumni discounts may vary, please check their websites for details. It is not applicable to Middlesex courses run at our academic partner institutions.
If you are unsure as to whether you are eligible for the Alumni Discount then please Submit your Query online
There are some instances when the alumni bursary will NOT be applicable:
Self-financing students returning to complete a second programme of study, who are not in receipt of another type of discount (including regional awards) having already been awarded a Middlesex degree, will be able to claim an Alumni tuition fee discount. Middlesex University students (UK/EU and International students) who have successfully completed an Undergraduate direct-entry into years 2 or 3 (Top-ups), and graduates from validated and franchise institutions would receive a 20% discount. Again this is dependent on them not being in receipt of any other regional award or Scholarship. This discount is not applicable to students being Sponsored by an organisation or business.
The University offers all Alumni a 20% fee reduction on postgraduate courses. This scheme is open to UK, EU and International students studying full time or part time postgraduate studies. There is no separate application process for the Alumni bursary. Students are advised when applying for a course, to highlight that they are an Alumni during the admissions process to ensure the bursary is applied. This discount is only valid at Middlesex University London. Alumni applying to International campuses are advised to check their websites for details. For the avoidance of doubt, an Alumni discount is not applicable where a student is moving from a foundation course to an Undergraduate degree or to a PGCE course.
Students who are undertaking a Continuing Professional Qualification (CPD) at Middlesex University, or are completing a single module of study under a CPD qualification will not be entitled to the Alumni discount.
