Healthcare options and insurance

As part of your visa application, you will be expected to pay the immigration health surcharge which will give you access to the UK National Health Service (NHS).

In addition, you can also take out private medical insurance.

Take out travel insurance and contents insurance before you arrive. It's best to take out insurance specifically aimed at students.

  • Book your International orientation programme

    The International orientation programme is an introduction to your life in the UK and life as a Middlesex student. We arrange social activities so you can meet other students and make new friends. Past activities have included:

    • London boat tour
    • International tea party
    • Tips about studying from home
    • Webinar from our student services

  • Travelling to the campus

    There are many different ways you can travel from major airports to the campus, including by bus, train, tube, and taxi.
