Undergraduate entry requirements
Entry to year one
For most entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed either:
First year of Bakalavr with an average grade of 3/5
International Baccalaureate Diploma
Graduation from high school and a recognised one-year foundation course
Graduation from a top-ranking high school with good grades
If you have only completed high school you may be considered for our one-year International Foundation Programme. Students who successfully complete the one-year International Foundation at Middlesex will automatically progress onto a Middlesex degree.
Each course will have specific grade requirements and some will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject or submission of a portfolio. Full details can be found within the specific course information page.
As part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.
Entry to year two or three
If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.
If you are an Aptech graduate, see our information page or contact our regional team to see if you can enter year two or three of a Middlesex degree.
You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements, and as part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.
Postgraduate entry requirements
For most postgraduate courses, you must have completed a good Bachelor degree, Specialist Diploma with minimum grade 4-5 equivalent to a British second-class Honours Degree.
