You should prepare by thinking about your answers to questions. Such as why you'll be an effective nurse or midwife, or how you will cope with the rigours of the course. We're looking for responses that show you've done your preparation and you have real life examples to support your answers.
You should also familiarise yourself with journals such as Nursing Standard, Nursing Times, British Journal of Midwifery or The Practising Midwife. For nursing you should consider the specific requirements of the field of nursing you have chosen.
If you are applying for a PGDip Nursing, please also have a look through our FAQ guide.
Watch our video to hear from staff and students at Middlesex University and the NHS about what to expect from your future career. Hear about the qualities of a good nurse or midwife and the benefits of working in healthcare.
We aim to contact you within seven working days to inform you of the outcome of your interview. If you are successful, we will update your UCAS track record with your offer and the conditions you need to meet. You will also receive an email from us if you have been successful.
