So I'm train Baker senior lecturer in initial teacher education and you're teaching you're having impact on a number of students lives you know when you're teaching teachers your impact is far wider that sense of sort of responsibility almost is is deeply felt comparative education was my favorite because it broadens your mind and you can actually see that not all children around the world have the same opportunities and how much actually politics and all that affects that so that was definitely my favorite the one thing that middle sex offers is opportunities to students who wouldn't get opportunities elsewhere I had a module called SC and where we had this massive rip session discussing scmd matters it was such a rich experience just debating about what the future holds in terms of SC and there are really well established partnership across the range of schools and working with schools to make sure that they've got really strong mentors you know that they're being really well supported on placements everything we do is designed to make sure that when you leave us in the summer you are so well prepared to go off to teach and on top of that we run careers days we have a lot of sort of partnership with the heads and school leaders coming in talking to students about your early career teaching role so they're really well prepared you know to to apply for the jobs then can go on and become amazing teachers
