Research activities

My research interests lie at the intersection of economics, demography and public health. I am particularly interested in the interplay between social norms and public policies for behaviours like fertility, migration, work, education or health.

I am currently a co-investigator on an ESRC-funded project on Transitions to Parenthood in UK SMEs (led by Bianca Stumbitz).

Current Teaching

This year, I teach:

  • ECS3031 Data science for policy evaluation, together with Ericka Rascon Ramirez, introducing our BSc students to (quasi-)experimental techniques using R;
  • ECS4580: Trade and the Multinational Enterprise, covering international trade theories and current debates for students in the Master in International Management.
