Biography

Dr Tianchen Li is the Programme Leader for the MScInnovation Management and Entrepreneurship and a Senior Lecturer inInternational Management and Innovation at Middlesex University. Before joiningMiddlesex University, he held an academic position at the University of Essexfrom 2014 onwards.

Dr Li holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and an MAin Social Science Data Analysis (with Distinction) from the University ofEssex, an MSc in International Business from the University of Liverpool, and aBA in Computer Science and Technology from China. He specialises in advancedquantitative research methods, including advanced econometrics, panel dataanalysis, multilevel modelling, structural equation modelling (SEM), and Bayesian statistics, and has extensiveresearch experience across academic, public sector, and industry environments.

His research work has been publishedin leading international journals such as Journalof World Business, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research,Management Decision, European Business Review, and International Studies of Management & Organization,among others. Dr Li also serves as a reviewer for several top-tier journals,including Journal of Business Venturing,Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of International Management,International Business Review, Technovation, and Journal of Small Business Management.

A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, DrLi has substantial experience in designing, leading, and deliveringundergraduate and postgraduate modules. His teaching covers Innovation andEntrepreneurship as well as Advanced Quantitative Analysis and BusinessAnalytics. He has served as Module Leader for:
