Biography
Kristina is a Lecturer in Midwifery at Middlesex University and is also studying for her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University.
She obtained her BSc(Hons) in Midwifery at the University of Greenwich where she achieved the merit award for outstanding achievement. She subsequently completed her MSc in Global Health and Development at UCL, where her final project focused on improving mental health for postnatal women in Malaysia. She has completed her PGCert in Medical and Healthcare Education, and has FHEA status.
Kristina gained ESRC funding under the CAM-DTP studentship for her PhD. She is investigating intercultural communication in NHS maternity care to identify how care can be improved for ethnically minoritised women.
