Film, Video and Television Production; Internet TV strategy, production & distribution
Just became a 'Doctor of Professional Studies by Public Works', through the University's 'Institute of Work Based Learning'.
I am owner/founder of Joose TV, an Internet television company based in London. Dealing mainly with the corporate/NGO sectors, we are witnessing the lines fading between 'television' and 'corporate videos'. The expansion of broadband technology means that everyone, anyone, can broadcast themselves. Increasingly, this means making business communications in a 'televisual' way. More recently, the development of Web 2.0 means that websites are becoming 'participatory' i.e. the users now have a voice. Huge online, global communities are now growing rapidly almost by the day. examples of my work include www.3four50.com and www.stordvd.com
I am also a 'new media' consultant to a number of organisations, advising them on how best to harness the power of Internet television. Clients include: The Oxford Health Alliance, London Business School and Novo Nordisk.
Professional background in video production, as a Director/Producer for 13 years before setting up Joose TV in 2000. I am also proficient with a camera and edit suites having worked my way through the many roles that production offers.
The growing use of Internet television, especially in the areas of campaigning (primarily on global issues) and multinational corporate communications.
