Navid Sahebjamnia is a lecturer in Operations Management & Analytics at the Department of Management, Leadership and Organizations in Middlesex Business School, Middlesex University London. He holds PhD Degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran. Alongside academic education, he has worked for a number of organisations in the areas of public transportation management, Furniture and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Middlesex University London in 2021, he has held academic and research positions at the University of Damghan, University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran, and Brunel University London. His areas of interest include Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business Continuity Management, Sustainable Operations Management, Green Scheduling, and Multi-Objective Decision Support.

Navid has valuable experience in developing operations research models for managing green logistics networks. As a member of the PortForward Project research team at Brunel University London (European Commission HORIZON 2020), he was focusing to develop a Management Science for improving the efficiency of the container terminals regarding energy consumption, carbon footprint, and economic features. Prior to this project, He carried out research in the sustainable multi-tire supply chain design of Iran steel chain project that aims at improving the sustainability of steel manufacturing and transportation network in Iran.
He looks for research collaboration towards improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and supply chains at micro and macro levels. Also, he focuses on analysing the trade-offs between the environmental and economical dimensions based on the trend of global challenges. He is interested to develop analytical methods from MS/OR to find the optimum decisions in real-world decision problems.
