Alongside this, my favourite memories include late‑night study sessions with friends, group project breakthroughs, and the simple joy of spending time around the Quad. These experiences shaped my time at Middlesex and made it feel like a place where I truly belonged.

Life after graduation

Life after graduating from Middlesex University took me through a diverse journey across technology, marketing and public service. I began my career as a Java developer at XANDA, where I strengthened my programming skills and learned how to build real‑world digital solutions. Next, I moved into a data scientist role at BRYDG Capital, applying analytical and modelling techniques to property‑based investment decisions. Later, I joined the Civil Service at the Department for Work and Pensions, where I used both my technical background and people‑focused skills to support decision‑making, quality assurance, and service delivery. Throughout this period, adapting to life during COVID‑19 required resilience, flexibility, and a new level of personal and professional discipline. These experiences shaped my growth and helped me become a more adaptable professional. During that time, I took the opportunity to attend MDX alumni sessions online and met up with past and present Middlesex students to learn more about their career journeys.

Advice for prospective students

The best advice I would give for prospective students at Middlesex University is to embrace the opportunities, stay positive and make full use of the support available. Middlesex is a place where you can grow academically and socially, but the more you engage, the more you gain. Get involved in societies, build strong relationships with your lecturers and never hesitate to ask for help when necessary.
