Students at Middlesex University can now wake up to the sight of Wembley Stadium’s arch following the official opening of the University’s latest student accommodation, Unite Olympic Way, next to this country’s most iconic sporting venue on 20 October.

Unite Olympic Way is a modern building designed specifically for students. Ideally located in the newly regenerated area around Wembley Stadium, the accommodation is just a bus ride from Middlesex's Hendon campus and a short tube journey from central London.

James Kennedy, Middlesex University’s Chief Financial Officer is pleased to offer this high quality accommodation to Middlesex students. “Students come first at Middlesex University and we are committed to providing modern, comfortable and affordable accommodation for all our first year students.

“As we continue to enhance the Middlesex student experience we are investing in accommodation and this year we have provided 1,600 places for students across our five halls of residence," he says.

Unite Olympic Way provides 629 en-suite rooms and 70 studio rooms complete with designated kitchens and dining/living areas which are shared between residents of each flat. Communal areas for students include a common room, TV rooms, outside terraces with unbeatable views across north London and generous study areas.

As well as having all bills included in their rent, students will also enjoy high speed Wi-Fi in all rooms, 24 hour security cover and on-site laundry facilities.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer the opportunity of living within kicking distance of the iconic Wembley Stadium and this magnificent new Unite Olympic Way accommodation already houses 600 Middlesex University students," James Kennedy, Middlesex University's Chief Financial Officer

Alongside world class sporting and musical displays on the doorstep there are countless restaurants and bars a drop-kick away from the residence and plenty to do in Brent and the wider surrounding area of North London with more cafes, shops, restaurants and clubs a short journey away.

Nick Hayes, Unite Students Development Director, is happy to be working closely with Middlesex.

“We are delighted to have agreed a partnership with Middlesex University and support them in enhancing their student experience. This is closely aligned to our core purpose of providing a ‘Home for Success’ for students living with us, and the crucial role environment plays in enabling students to achieve more during their university careers.

“We are extremely proud of our new Wembley development, providing a further 699 beds for Middlesex students, the £50m scheme is well located by high quality amenities and good transport links to central London.”

Middlesex University can now guarantee a place in halls for all full-time UK, EU and international undergraduate students beginning their first year of study in 2017.
