Jazz broadcaster Helen Mayhew has presented programmes for BBC Radio 2, 3 and 4, and has worked at Jazz FM since its inception in 1990, presenting a wide variety of jazz programmes, including the station's flagship show Dinner Jazz.
Helen will be giving a talk on how to use radio as a way of bringing your music to a wider audience, about how various jazz programmes are produced, and how best to target your music and yourself at each one.
This free event is part of the Concerts and Colloquia series put on by the Department of Performing Arts.
Refreshments will be provided.
