Middlesex named the best for Career Prospects and Facilities in London by students

Middlesex University’s facilities and graduate employment opportunities have been named the best in London at the UK’s biggest student-voted awards.

Middlesex was ranked first for both Career Prospects and University Facilities in London at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2026. The University came in second place for Postgraduate Opportunities and University Halls in the capital.

The Career Prospects Award focuses on employability and prospects beyond graduation and recognises the University’s focus on practical learning which gives students skills for employment and career support.

The Facilities Award highlights outstanding campus facilities and resources for students. Middlesex won the same top accolade in London and the UK at the ceremony last year.

This year, students voted Middlesex first and second in London across four categories:

• Winner for Career Prospects in London
• Winner for University Facilities in London
• Second for Postgraduate Opportunities in London
• Second for University Halls in London

Voted for exclusively by students, the Whatuni awards, now in their 14th year, give institutions recognition for exceeding student expectations over the past year. They take data from tens of thousands of student reviews from across the country to calculate the winners.

Students praised Middlesex’s diverse community, supportive staff, campus facilities, hands-on practical courses that prepare them for careers, and its North London location.

Dr Ellen Buck, the University’s Pro Vice Chancellor for Education and Student Experience, said:
