Start your degree outside the traditional academic year with our range of January start dates, a flexible alternative to pursue your academic and career goals.
How January starts work
Our January-entry courses, many of which are professionally accredited, are designed with flexibility in mind. They're ideal if you're working, have personal commitments, or just need a schedule that works for you.
A January start is perfect if:
- You began a course elsewhere in September, but realised it’s not the right fit;
- You took a few months out and are ready to return to study;
- Your plans or circumstances have changed unexpectedly;
- You’ll study the same content as students who started in September.
By the second year (if your course includes one), you’ll have caught up and will graduate alongside your peers.

We welcome international students for the January intake. We advise you to apply as early as possible to allow time for visa processing and other logistics.

Our Living Costs Fund has made extra money available to help you if you face financial hardship.
