How to apply for undergraduate courses

Most of our courses start in September, but some courses also run in January.
Application routes for different courses
Application dates and deadlines
Courses starting in September 2026
- Applications must be submitted to UCAS by 30 June 2026.
- This includes foundation degrees and deferred applications.
- If you’ve already started your application but haven’t used all five choices, you can log in to your UCAS hub and add us as one of your choices.
- If you've already used all five choices and don’t hold any offers, you can use UCAS Extra to apply to additional courses one at a time.
Courses starting in September 2027
- All courses will be available on UCAS from May 2026.
- You can start your application early, but UCAS will only allow submissions from 1 September 2026.

UCAS Extra opens. If you've used all five choices and are not holding any offers, you may be able to add another choice to your application.

Deadline for applications for undergraduate courses to be sent to universities.

Last day to add an extra choice to your application.

The application process: What you need to know
For a full-time undergraduate course in the UK, you need to apply through UCAS. It's important to remember the following:
- The application fee for 2026 entry is £28.95 for up to five choices.
- The deadline to apply for most courses is 14 January.
- Our institution code is M80.
- Our individual course code can be found on our course pages.
- You will need to supply your personal details, contact information, educational history and references.
- You will need to complete a personal statement.
- You may also need to supply supporting documents such as transcripts, certificates, portfolios where relevant.
After you've applied
If you have applied via UCAS, you can check the status or accept your offer in your UCAS hub.
If you have applied directly to us, you can check the status of your offer, upload supporting documents and accept your offer via our online applicant portal.
Professional programmes
- For nursing, midwifery and social work courses, you can apply via UCAS
- For teacher training courses, you need to apply via DfE
