Biography

Dr Priscilla Ramsamy is a Senior Lecturer and academic leader in Digital Technologies at Middlesex University Mauritius, with experience in teaching, research, and academic programme management. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Reading, where her research focused on virtual environments and immersive technologies.

Her research interests lie primarily in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR), with a particular emphasis on immersive learning environments and interactive systems. She has contributed to both theoretical and applied research in these areas, exploring how emerging technologies can enhance user engagement, learning effectiveness, and interaction design.
